POST FESTIVAL PAMPER
There's nothing like a full blown pamper and cleanse after a weekend at a festival. Mountain minerals, silky coconut milk and eyebright all have restorative properties to reset, relax and unwind.
HIMALAYAN SALT: There's nothing that beats himalayan salts when it comes to restoring balance. These beautiful crystals contain over 84 minerals and trace elements such as: calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron. This salt stimulates circulation and is deeply relaxing and soothing for sore muscles.
COCONUT MILK: Simple but luxurious, instead of topping up with cold water pour in a carton or two of coconut milk, antioxidant, skin softening, soothing for sunburn and rich in vitamins B,C&E.
SEAWEED: Add a bag of sea salt and a few sheets of kelp to help to release and renew, packed full of natural nutrients and minerals.
SALT SOAK: Our salt soaks are regenerative, soothing and softening, try MAI LIME to refresh, IN THE PINK to regenerate or WHITE LIGHT to unwind.
ROSE: For the ultimate self love ritual steep yourself in roses, petals or essential oil, there are rose petals in our 'in the pink' salt soak.
Exfoliating after a festival is bliss. To 1 cup of sugar, ground coffee or sea salt add 1 dessertspoon of any oil of your choice, half a lemon or lime to cleanse and drops of your favourite essential oil, mix in a bowl. Fill a jar with your body scrub and your ready for some revitalising exfoliation. (You can make this ahead of time and store in the fridge.)
REVIVING EYE COMPRESS
To make this gentle soothing compress you'll need eyebright, a herb available from most good health food shops and natural pharmacies. This refreshing compress is perfect for tired eyes on any day of the week.
1. Infuse 1 teaspoon of eyebright in 100ml of water for 5-10 minutes, allow to cool before using.
2. 1 inch of peeled cucumber
3. 1 tablespoon of aloe juice
4. 1 teaspoon of witch hazel (optional)
5. Blend the ingredients in a small bowl
6. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes
7. Soak cotton pads in the mix
8. Pop the pads on your eyes and relax
9. Remove cotton pads and apply aloe gel or witch hazel gel
